Invited speakers
Engineer, digital construction expert with more than 10 years’ experience in the AEC industry, holds a PhD and MSc in Architectural Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. Former post-doc at Sapienza, has been visiting research student at Technion Israel Institute of Technology and visiting scholar at Berkeley University of California. He is currently a member of the BIM Management Department of the international contractor Webuild, focusing on digital innovations for tenders and construction sites. He is author of more than 60 international publications in the area of BIM and digital construction.

Master’s dissertation developed within the scope of numerical analysis applied to percolation problems.
Professional activity started at Cenor, dedicated to earth dam and retaining wall projects. In 2012, integration in Cenor’s IT Modernization Commission, which identified BIM as the future in the AEC sector.
Currently, Director of the Innovation Centre at TPF Consultores, which provides support to all the company’s services within the scope of improving production efficiency, whether through process automation or the adoption of BIM methodology. The Innovation Centre has been exploring the use of drones, 360º cameras and augmented reality equipment.

Currently, BIM Coordinator in the Design Team of the Lisbon General Drainage Plan, being involved in the largest contract of the Lisbon City Council, the contract for the execution of the drainage tunnels of the city of Lisbon and associated interventions.
Given the importance of enrichment and professional and personal development, he did a post-graduation in management, the course of superior technician of safety on site and several other trainings, internships and projects in areas such as public contracting, BIM, programming or hydraulics.
